Timberwood Rules All local rules take preference over all other rueles Moving Ball You may move the ball one clubhead in any direction, to improve your lie. Out of Bounds Out of bounds is a one stroke penalty, and there is no distance penalty. Player Missing If your partner is missing and you have no sub, then the opposing team will automatically be awarded the 6 points, and you must play both players with your handicap. Team Missing If the opposing team is missing, they will receive no points. Your team will automatically be awarded the six points, and you must match your card against a team with handicaps similar to the missing team. All Other Rules Rules not defined here will be according to the American Golf Association. Position Night Only subs with handicaps are allowed on position night. Ball on wrong green If your ball land on the wrong green, you may take a free drop off that green. Man made You may take a free drop, one club lenght from any man made object such as a bench, bridge, tunnel, outhouse or fence as long as the ball is inside the fence and still in play. League Fees Each player must pay all league fees in full. If you can not make the outing, we will attempt to find a replacement for you and return your money, but it is YOUR responsibility to pay all fees in full if you want to be part of this league. Maximum Strokes Given The MAXIMUM stroke given to your opponent is two (2) per hole and 18 for totals, regardless of handicap.
